About Us

Global Economic Summit is a non-profit organisation that provides a platform for cross-sector dialogue on global challenges, in the first instance through an international event, and ultimately as a new global think tank providing research and policy services to foster objective, fact-based decision making.

The Global Economic Summit is established as an independent company limited by guarantee (CLG) and proudly functions as the Philanthropic Foundation for the Business Post Group. Originating from a collaborative effort among journalists, business leaders, and political figures, the Foundation emerged in response to evolving journalism models and the need for impartial analysis that guides fact-based, objective decision-making. Fusing the dynamism and rigour of a newsroom with Ireland’s extraordinary convening power, the Global Economic Summit is uniquely positioned to unite global leaders in impactful dialogue in an increasingly complex decision-making environment. In its commitment to principles of equality, environmental protection, and sustainability, the Summit aspires to effect transformative change in its inaugural year.

We want to provide a platform for organisations, Irish and international, who are committed to contributing materially to global solutions. Our delegates will have access to subject expertise and will leave with better insights and better connections. As a non-profit operating on a commitment-based model, we aim to contribute to the advancement of society through research and education. We live by our vision of ‘Connecting Progress with Purpose’.

Global Economic Summit would not be possible without the support and leadership of our Patrons, our Advisory Committee and our dedicated staff.
